Terms of Service

Roastly is a coffee journal. The Service allows you to log coffees, write reviews, rate them, follow other users, browse a coffee database, and maintain a profile. The Service is provided free of charge. We may introduce advertisements in the future.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3.1. You create an account using an email address and password, or by signing in with a third-party provider such as Apple. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3.2. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.3. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at info@getroastly.com. We intend to offer self-service account deletion within the app in the future.

4.1. You may submit reviews, ratings, and profile information (username, avatar, and bio) through the Service. You retain ownership of the content you create.

4.2. By posting content, you grant Roastly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Service.

4.3. You agree not to post content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, misleading, or that infringes on the rights of others.

4.4. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our guidelines, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service by automated means without permission.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

6.1. Your data is stored on servers located in Germany.

6.2. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6.3. We collect and process data necessary to provide the Service. For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

The Roastly name, logo, and the Service itself (excluding user-generated content) are the property of Roastly. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

8.1. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

8.2. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roastly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands.
